saya sedih ada setengah orang begitu asyik dengan fenomena akademi fantasi
sehingga berbincang tentang hal hal akademi fantasia dan penghibur seperti mawi, felix, marsha dsb di forum fotopages.

saya rasa amatlah lari topik jika kita berdiskus tentang hal hal hiburan seperti itu di forum fotopages ini. lainlah jikalau anda ada mengambil gambar secara professional di majlis majlis sedemikian atau anda pernah menjadi jurugambar mawi, felix, marsha dsb.

sudahlah melayu mendermakan berjutaan wang kepada benda yang tidak berfaedah, hanya kerana berasa simpati terhadap peserta yang mengambil bahagian. mungkin inilah pengaruh alat decoder satelit television yang semakin hari semakin ramai pelanggan. bijak golongan promosi mereka. saya akui bahawa alat ini tidaklah buruk sama sekali, sekadar baik buruknya adalah bergantung kepada kebijakkan pengguna itu sendiri.

saya berasa sedih membaca berita sedemikian rupa. saya kira rata rata pengundi ini agaknya semua sekali adalah melayu kerana saya rasa tidak ada sebab kenapa orang bukan melayu untuk melayan program sebegini. mungkin mereka tidak sensitif kepada hal hal sebegini kerana peserta yang mengambil bahagian tidak ramai yang bukan melayu agaknya. saya juga berasa amat sedikit atau tidak ada lansung lagu lagu mandarin, tamil, perancis atau itali didendangkan. maafkan saya tetapi saya tidak pernah menonton malah satu episod pon program "AF3" ini oleh itu saya mungkin agak jahil tentang hal ehwal "AF3" ini. saya tidak berasa pelik dan bodoh kerana tidak melayan program sebegini. langkah mayat sekalipun saya tidak akan menderma malah satu pesanan ringkas sms terhadap program ini.

mungkin malaysia ini perlukan orang orang yang boleh menyanyi agaknya. mungkin juga syarikat syarikat pengendali telekomunikasi tidak mahu mangambil artis artis yang sedia ada sebagai model mereka. mungkin mereka mahukan celebriti baru yang yuran servisnya lebih murah berbanding celebriti celebriti lama yang telah sedia ada.

berbalik kepada topik asalnya, nasihat saya kepada mereka mereka yang masih asyik dengan fenomena "dah demam" ini supaya membawa hal ehwal "AF3" ini ke tempat yang sepatutnya. tolonglah biarkan fotopages ini berkembang tanpa "AF3" ataupun mawi.

jadilah pengguna yang bijak wahai melayu.

i'm listening to broken social scene and the time is 5am when i bumped to eema's fotopage and read the whole fiasco. i felt compelled to write something about it. and i don't know why i want to write like hishamuddin rais but it felt like i did. anyway, i got over 303 visitors these past 4 days combined, thank you. it's good to be back.

isk. gig ni okay sebenarnya sebab tak banyak band.
tapi kenapa aku tak puas hati dengan prestasi gambar2 ku hari ni.

sigh.

bittersweet did a nice set,
missing chapter is back to their old best,
simon the fag kicks with new tunes (altho i prefer their oldies)
and april was cun with great scott and conti love and ratno's preaching. hahaha

anyway, it was a good day with lots of familiar faces, which is always a nice thing.
the new venue kicks ass, a small stage but still it have potential.

the sound system was a ripoff. dodgy amps, no miking on the tom toms, no proper monitors, lack of understanding between bands and the soundman, all that ish. the usual same ish different gig.

too bad about the poor attendance. around 80 tickets sold. sedih jugak kan.
but hey it's a new place, give it some time, people will grow familiarity and prefer the new venue.

here's hoping for more proper live house in kuala lumpur,

gubra went well.
i was feeling quite sad/mellow when we all finished the thing since i felt like a family with the whole crew but we all have to part our ways cause every single one have their own personal life to attend to.

it's hard to accept the fact that you meet people, blend with them, laugh and went through bad/bitter times together with them, care for them, they care for you and at the end of the day not seeing each person that much again. i hate that feeling of loss.

i will remember all the things i went through doing that film.
plus i had new perception of my line of work.
what's more satisfying to me now is that i have proven myself to be fit doing what i'm doing.

i achieved something professional and realized life is wonderful while i'm at it
